At Essential Products Online we have set out from the beginning to maintain strong ethical values, provide our customers with the best possible service, and do as much as we can to provide products that help our customers tackle environmental issues with minimal effort to themselves.
We only sell genuine products, that we have tested ourselves and that we believe in.
Being a brand new business, we have had the benefit of determining how we want to run our business from the start. Even during the first conversation myself (Alex) and Anthony had about starting a new business for the first time, we set out clear guidelines of how we would shape the business.
First of all we decided we wanted to provide products that were eco-friendly and would help sustain the environment for future generations.
Equally important the customer has to be the top priority, if you don't have customers, you don't have a business! We want every customer to have an enjoyable experience, from the moment they land on the website, to the moment they open their delivery and beyond. We want our customers to come back and trust in us to provide them with great products and great service.
We will be running promotions offering discounts on products, but where most companies offer better discounts to new customers to entice them in, we're going to be different, as well as attracting new customers, our existing customers will be rewarded with special personalised loyalty discounts and recommendation offers and promotions.
Long serving customers will be rewarded for their loyalty, and customers who purchase frequently will be treated to special personalised discounts and offers.
We also have a no quibbles returns policy. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you can return it within 30 days from the date purchased for a refund, a replacement or store credit.
A huge part of our business model is to provide products that will make it easier for our customers to reduce harmful waste, especially where we can cut the need for single use plastic!
Whilst we can't guarantee all our products will fit this mould, they will where we can, and we'll be constantly trying to expand this side of the business. One thing that is annoying us at the moment is the packaging we have to use, as a lot of it is polythene bags, which we've found most manufacturers use. We may also need to ship items out in plastic bags or Jiffy bags, but we are on the hunt for viable biodegradable packaging solutions. We won't fill our product descriptions with jargon or try baffle you with techy talk, we'll keep it simple and tell you what the product does. If you want to drill down to the nitty gritty we'll stick it all in the Technical Specifications for you.
We plan on having fun whilst working on this business, there's more to life than just work! And we hope the products we supply to you bring you joy as well.
We aim to be very competitive on prices, and have put multiple hours research into our products and pricing.
Where we have vendors selling their own products on the store, we will insist they comply with our values, if they do not they will be removed.
We are building up our range of products and will continously add items to the site. If a product is out of stock, you'll still be able to view it, and we've enabled the pre-order option, so if there's something you like, you can still go ahead and purchase it or add it to your Wishlist, this will notify us and we'll get the stock replenished as soon as possible and drop you a message advising the timescales.
